Manage your website files from your Joomla! administration.
Compatible with
Manage your files directly from the Joomla! administration with the Filemanager component. The current version is based on elFinder 1.x jQuery script. Create, edit and delete easily and in style, currently it accesses the website root and above paths. Version 2 of elFinder is currently beta and as soon as it's available we'll update the component with it. You can also set the access permissions to the component.

The interface makes use of jQuery UI which is a great set of scripts to create good looking interfaces for web applications nowadays.
You can set permissions per user group giving you control of who can access your website files. Besides that you can also set if the component is limited to the images folder or all website.
The usage is very simple and intuitive including option to show in full screen for a bigger working area. In a matter of minutes you'll be completely confortable working with it.
